BIO

Tony is an Associate Professor of Lighting Design and Head of the Design and Production program at Florida International University.  He is also currently the Vice-Chair of Design, Technology and Management for The Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Region IV.

His design work has been seen at The Contemporary American Theatre Festival, The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, The Texas Shakespeare Theatre Festival and in NYC with companies such as Toy Box Theatre Company, The Gallery Players, Wings Theatre Company, Metropolitan Playhouse, and New Perspectives Theatre Company.  Tony has received faculty excellence awards from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF) for his lighting design of The Cook, Spring Awakening, The Cherry Orchard, and The House of the Sprits. 

 

He received is M.F.A. in lighting design from Purdue University, a B.F.A. from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point and an A.A. from the University of Wisconsin Waukesha.
